Meet the Team
Alice has been with EAMA since early 2024. She came to us as an Office Administrator, and has now taken over the role on reception. Before working here, Alice was studying Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy at City College Norwich, and has taken her time to become fully qualified in Lashes; owning her own business alongside her job here.
Alice’s passion and interests have always been facing customers, and allowing time to help in any way she can, whilst also learning a new trade and skill within the business.
When Alice isn’t working, she loves to spend her free time baking cakes as part of another business of hers, making sure to spend time with friends and family, getting her nails and lashes done, whilst also fulfilling her shopping addiction!
Best thing about EAMA? “Being part of a family-run business, and making sure that I can help customers to my full potential whilst also trying to bring a positive smile to their day!”
Chris joined the family business in 1987, having worked both in, and trained, with industrial valuers and auctioneers in London. Chris worked with his father Douglas to further develop his skills, resulting in always looking forward to conducting the next auction.
Chris is married with 3 children, enjoys food with friends, and loves his Springer Spaniel almost as much as his bicycles!
Best thing about EAMA? People on two fronts. Firstly, working with a small team of dedicated people who are far more talented in their roles than I could ever be. Secondly, the continuity of customer relationships. In many cases we have dealt with 4 generations of the same family, together with seeing young people starting as juniors and ending up running successful dealerships, fleet departments, and all types of businesses.
Damian has been with EAMA since 2007; originally driving the vehicles through our saleroom as a part-time job, while studying at University.
After acquiring his degree, Damian stayed on at EAMA, where he now handles everything from design, to marketing, to technical development.
Outside of EAMA, Damian has keen interests in property development, investing, snowboarding, and Formula 1.
Best thing about EAMA? "Flexible working and creative freedom!"
Ella has worked for EAMA since September 2017, following her completion of A-Levels in Psychology, Sociology, and Business Studies. She is our Assistant Office Manager, handling a bit of everything; often found surrounded by a mountain of paperwork!
In her spare time she enjoys socialising with friends and family, shopping, and holidays.
Best thing about EAMA? "Getting to know our customers, working in a small team and being able to put my obsession with perfectionism into use!"
Jo has been with EAMA since 2016. Prior to that she spent over 10yrs in the marine industry for a large, family-owned business on the Norfolk broads.
In her spare time Jo enjoys competing her horse at showjumping, cross-country, dressage, and long distance rides. She then devotes the rest of her waking hours to being a cat slave to 'Cocobean' and 'Boubies'!
Jo believes that challenges make life interesting, but overcoming those challenges makes life meaningful. Be grateful for something every day.
Best thing about EAMA? "Definitely not the A47 or A11, grrrrrr!"
Kelly is the Office Manager here at EAMA, and has worked here for 10yrs. One of her favourite tasks is dealing with provisional bids from sales, and enjoys the interaction with customers, along with a decent amount of banter.
As you can see from her photograph, enjoying a prosecco in the sun is one of her hobbies. She is married with two children, and is often signed up to the EAMA10k run which she is really happy about (not!).
Best thing about EAMA? "I love being part of a family business, being happy with a smile, and doing the best I can"
Kevin is EAMA's longest serving employee, having worked at EAMA since 1977! As General Manager, Kevin is responsible for the day-to-day running of the whole operation.
When not at work, Kevin enjoys spending his time down the coast in his holiday home... enjoying a bottle of wine and walking his dog Ruby on the beach.
Best thing about EAMA? "The best thing about working at EAMA is the family part of a family business."
Nicky's connection with EAMA is, as well as professional, a family one too. Consequently EAMA has always been intertwined with her personal life, as well as her working life. Nicky has worked in the business since 1994, encompassing a number of roles.
Away from work, Nicky enjoys driving her 1953 MG classic car, skiing, tennis, walking, socialising and cooking, as well as travelling and eating out - one of her favourite treats is a traditional Afternoon Tea!
Nicky is married and has two daughters.
Best thing about EAMA? "Working with a great team of people, and interacting with our customers. I'm immensely proud of being the 3rd generation in the family to be involved in the business that my grandfather started in 1946."
Pippa is our Apprentice who joined us in January 2024, and is currently studying a Level 3 Business Administration course. She had also studied a Level 2 Animal Management course at college before deciding to switch to an Apprenticeship.
When Pippa's not working, she enjoys going to Norwich football matches (home or away!) or visiting her family in Newcastle. Pippa’s favourite subjects to talk about are her Friday lunch on-the-market dates with her dad, or her 2 cats "Iddy" and "George".
Best thing about EAMA? Getting the opportunity to learn the trade, and being able to learn new skills!
Rebecca has worked with us since 2013, and is a valued member of the office team; dealing with customers, and all that lovely paperwork.
'Becks', as she prefers to be called, is married, has 3 girls, and their dog Max. Becks likes running (occassionally) as a hobby, and loves to spend summer weekends and holidays visiting places with her family.
Best thing about EAMA? "Being part of a great team, and our office girl's nights out"
Stephen is a new member of the team, joining us in May 2024. Prior to this, Stephen worked for Audi for over 14yrs... starting out as an Accredited Sales Executive and finishing up as an Accredited Sales Manager.
Stephen studied at Norwich City College, straight from school, where he went on to have a 21yr career as a domestic electrician... before entering the motor industry. Stephen brings a wealth of motor dealer experience, along with a great business-to-business and people skillset.
In his spare time, Stephen loves spending time with his beautiful wife Jac, and two amazing children, Olivia and Oscar. All of which make him proud on a daily basis. He loves anything football, especially England, and manages a local Sunday team in the Norwich Sunday Premier Division. Then there is Matilda, his gorgeous 6yr old Weimaraner, whom he tends to cuddle on the sofa more than his wife!
Stephen lives by "Don't be bitter, be better" and "Take criticism professionally, not personally".
Best thing about EAMA? ...being a bit of an old-school, proper-values person, I find EAMA to be of a similar profile; being a three-generation family-run business since 1946 and displaying the importance of staff and customer care, this was the perfect business for me to join. I look forward to many happy years with Christopher and the team at EAMA.
Tristram has been with EAMA since 2009, and runs the Classic Auctions that we hold several times per year. He has around 25yrs knowledge in the field, and is also one of our auctioneers and valuers.
In addition to this, he provides support to many blue-chip and local authority fleets, with the knowledge of National Framework agreements.
Best thing about EAMA? "Being a well-grounded business that has been running for over 75yrs, run by a great team."
